Dominican Translation Overrides
################################

``translation_override_do`` centralizes terminology differences between
Latin American Spanish and professional usage in the Dominican Republic.
It depends on ``ir_do``, uses ``es_DO`` and the native Tryton 8.0
``locale/override`` mechanism. It never patches or replaces core models.

Scope
*****

Only translations owned by Tryton core or external modules belong here.
Translations for fields created by a Dominican module must remain in that
module's own ``locale/es_DO.po`` catalog. Every override must preserve the
functional meaning of its source label; tax identifiers, currencies and
document types must not be renamed generically when their model can represent
more than one legal concept.

Adding an override
******************

Add the target module as a dependency before adding one of its translations.
Keep each module's entries in
``locale/override/<module>_do.po`` and append
``:<module>.<fs_id>`` to each context. Use ``<module>.`` when the source
translation has no XML record identifier. Then run
``python tools/build_override_catalog.py`` to regenerate the runtime catalogs
``locale/override/es_DO.po`` and ``locale/override/es_419.po``. This provides
the per-module layout of
``translation_override_de`` using the Dominican country suffix ``do``, while
remaining compatible with the unpatched Tryton 8.0 loader, which recognizes
the generated PO filename as a language code.

Gitea Actions runs the generator before building the package. Run
``python tools/build_override_catalog.py --check`` and the module tests to
verify that the generated catalog is synchronized and every source context
still exists in the supported Tryton series.

The module currently standardizes the account move and journal list labels:
``Asientos contables``, ``Líneas de asientos contables``, ``Diarios
contables`` and ``Plantillas de asientos contables``. For Dominican stock
terminology, every singular and plural use of ``Albarán`` in the Tryton 8.0
``stock`` catalog is overridden with ``Conduce``. This includes menus,
fields, help text, messages, model names and shipment reports.
